On February 10, from 2-4pm, there will be an in person workshop with artist Namrata Siviya: Paint an Abstract Landscape in Acrylic. This workshop will be held in the Upper Fellowship Hall of First Church of Christ, Congregational, 25 Great Rd in Bedford, MA. This workshop is free and open to the public. All materials will be supplied and there will be a $10 materials fee paid at the time of the workshop directly to the instructor, payable by cash, check, or Venmo. To sign up, email RSVP@bacsma.org. In this abstract painting workshop, artist Namrata Siviya will guide you in painting a landscape loosely and boldly. Using one of three images provided as a starting point, you will identify the lines of the landscape, simplify the image and experiment with various degrees of abstraction. While we will briefly go over color mixing, values, and composition, the intent of this workshop is to connect with your intuitive voice and paint freely. All levels welcome.
