About BACS
Founded in 1956, the Bedford Arts and Crafts Society (BACS) is dedicated to promoting appreciation and enjoyment
of fine art and crafts. From an initial membership of three, the group has grown to more than eighty members from Bedford, Massachusetts, and surrounding towns.
In support of its mission, the society provides rich learning opportunities in varied artistic media and crafts. The club’s yearly calendar features artist demonstrations, hands-on painting and craft workshops, and informal weekly crafting get-togethers. In coordination with the Bedford Recreation Department, BACS also co-sponsors classes taught by professional artists and crafters.
New members are welcome!
